NVIDIA Announces Financial Results for First Quarter Fiscal 2026

NVIDIA reported first quarter revenue of $44.1 billion, up 12% from the previous quarter and 69% from a year ago. The U.S. government’s export licensing requirements for H20 products in China led to a $4.5 billion charge, impacting revenue. Gross margins would have been 71.3% without the charge. Earnings per diluted share were $0.76 (GAAP) and $0.81 (non-GAAP).

NVIDIA’s breakthrough Blackwell NVL72 AI supercomputer is in full production, meeting strong global AI infrastructure demand. Quarterly dividend of $0.01 per share will be paid on July 3, 2025. Q1 fiscal 2026 saw revenue growth to $44,062 million, with GAAP earnings per share of $0.76 and non-GAAP of $0.81.

Revenue for Q1 fiscal 2026 reached $44,062 million, up 69% from a year ago, with gaming revenue hitting a record $3.8 billion. NVIDIA unveiled the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 for gamers, while DLSS 4 is now available in over 125 games. The Nintendo Switch 2 features AI-powered DLSS.

First-quarter revenue for Data Center was $39.1 billion, up 73% from a year ago. NVIDIA announced partnerships to build AI factories in the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan. The NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra and Dynamo platforms were introduced to accelerate AI reasoning models. NVIDIA also unveiled several new AI infrastructure solutions and collaborations with industry leaders.

Automotive revenue for the quarter was $567 million, up 72% from a year ago. NVIDIA collaborated with General Motors on next-gen vehicles and robots, launching new safety systems and humanoid robot models. The company also released new Cosmos world foundation models and AI data tools.

NVIDIA’s non-GAAP outlook for Q2 fiscal 2026 includes expected revenue of $45.0 billion, with a gross margin of 72.0%. Operating expenses are projected to be approximately $4.0 billion. The company continues to work towards achieving mid-70% gross margins by the end of the year.
