The Taiwan stock market continued its winning streak, rising over 1,300 points in five consecutive days, closing above 20,780 points. Global markets are optimistic about economic data and reduced tariff concerns. Technology and plastics companies led the TSE to a 2.73 percent gain on Friday. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 all surged on Friday, with U.S. job growth exceeding expectations. China is open to trade talks with the U.S. Oil prices dropped on concerns of increased OPEC production. West Texas Intermediate crude fell to $58.29 a barrel, down 1.6 percent.
