Premier Health of America Inc. (TSXV: PHA) has filed its unaudited Quarterly Consolidated Financial Statements and MD&A for the second quarter ended on March 31st, 2025. The effects of Quebec’s Bill 10 continue to impact the Per Diem segment, representing around 4% of revenues and 5% of gross margins. Travel nurse and northern community services are performing well, except in BC where volume reduction is being experienced due to service acquisition centralization efforts by health authorities.
Premier Health is working on the reorganization of its Quebec operations, reducing the workforce and corporate structure. The company’s CFO, Guy Daoust, assumed the role of interim CEO. Cost savings are on track with planned amounts, and the cost structure in BC is being reviewed to address market conditions.
Premier Health is focused on cost reduction, debt management, operational efficiency, and organic growth opportunities. The Per Diem segment is now nonexistent, shifting focus to Travel Nurses and evaluating entry into the Home Care sector.
