Ripple CEO hails major Wall Street shift as XRP ETFs go mainstream

Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, praises the launch of XRP-linked funds on Wall Street. He discusses the appeal of crypto ETFs for institutional investors, highlighting the accessibility of trading crypto directly on Wall Street, which was previously limited to self-custody or centralized exchanges.
The launch of crypto ETFs is institutionalizing the crypto industry, with XRP funds gaining traction. Teucrium Investment Advisors launched a 2x XRP futures ETF, followed by CME launching XRP futures. Volatility Shares also launched XRP futures ETFs, with nine spot XRP ETF applications pending approval.
With a market cap of $134 billion, XRP is the fourth-largest cryptocurrency, trading at $2.29. Garlinghouse views the rise of XRP ETFs as a major shift on Wall Street, allowing previously untapped capital like endowments and pension funds to access crypto through traditional channels.
