Rocket Doctor has partnered with Melanoma Canada to provide follow-up care for patients identified as at-risk during mobile skin cancer screenings. Patients without a family doctor will be referred to physicians on Rocket Doctor’s platform. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in Canada, with 1 in 3 cancer diagnoses being skin-related. The partnership aims to increase patient visits on Rocket Doctor’s platform and improve access to care for at-risk individuals. 22 Canadians are diagnosed with melanoma daily, and 3 Canadians die from this serious form of skin cancer. The collaboration will bridge the care gap for those identified during screenings, ensuring timely access to care.
