Room00 Group, a European urban lifestyle hospitality platform, secures a €400m investment from King Street Capital Management for expansion in key markets like Portugal, Spain, and Italy. The funds will aid in acquiring hotel properties in prime locations and enable direct property acquisitions. Room00 aims to grow to 200 assets and 15,000 rooms in Southern Europe within four years, with plans to establish a presence in London as well. King Street sees Room00 as a top player in the European hospitality sector, praising its integrated operating model and strategic focus on prime city center locations. Advisory services were provided by GRC IM, CBRE Investment Banking, and legal counsel from Garrigues, Cuatrecasas, and Across Legal for Room00, while King Street received advice from Uría Menéndez, Allen & Overy Shearman, EY, and PwC. In a separate transaction, King Street and Kronos Homes completed the sale of Palmares Ocean Living & Golf resort in Portugal to funds managed by Arrow Global.
