RTX Corporation (NYSE: RTX) announced the delivery of the first AN/TPY-2 radar to the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, featuring Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. This advanced radar will track, detect, and discriminate against ballistic missiles, expanding surveillance capacity and supporting hypersonic missile defense. The radar also integrates CX6 high-performance computing software for electronic attack protection and target discrimination. RTX’s shares have surged nearly 19% year-to-date, driven by positive developments like this.
