Saudi Arabia and Sidel signed an MOU in Paris to explore packaging operations in the kingdom. The deal was signed during the Saudi minister’s visit to France. The MOU includes evaluating local services and training programs to meet food and beverage packaging market needs. The partnership with Sidel was established to provide significant value-added contributions to manufacturers in Saudi Arabia. Sidel’s expertise in packaging solutions is in high demand among food and beverage sector manufacturers.

In January, Sidel unveiled a packaging solution using 100% recycled materials for still beverages. The MOU aligns with Saudi Arabia’s goals for industrial development and private-sector growth. This partnership signifies a step towards building globally competitive industrial capabilities and fostering economic diversification in the country.
