SharpLink Gaming has launched an Ethereum-based corporate treasury strategy and appointed Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin as chairman of its board, securing a $425 million private investment. Stock prices surged 400%, reaching nearly $33.50 from under $7 the day before. Major investors include Consensys, ParaFi Capital, and Pantera Capital. The deal is set to close by May 29.

Other companies exploring corporate crypto treasuries include Meitu, KPMG, Boyaa Interactive International, and Reddit. Meitu liquidated its Bitcoin and Ether holdings, while KPMG Canada added Ether to its treasury. Boyaa Interactive International switched from Ether to Bitcoin. Reddit offloaded most of its holdings, and BTCS secured $57.8 million to purchase Ether.
