Siemens Energy expects up to 15% revenue growth for FY25

Siemens Energy expects a 13-15% revenue growth for fiscal year 2025, with a 20.7% increase in revenue to €10bn in Q2. Orders surged by 52.3% to €14.4bn, leading to a record order backlog of €133bn. Profit before special items rose to €906m, with a profit margin of 9.1%.
The company’s growth was seen across all segments, with a strong performance in Grid Technologies and Gas Services. Despite negative special items of €291m, Siemens Energy’s profit increased to €615m, with net income rising to €501m and basic earnings per share at €0.50. Free cash flow pre-tax improved to €1.39bn.
Siemens Energy president and CEO Christian Bruch highlighted the rising demand for electricity leading to a strong quarter. The company anticipates a profit margin before special items of 4-6% for FY25, with net income expected to reach up to €1bn. The forecast for free cash flow pre-tax has been revised to approximately €4bn.
Siemens Energy secured a $1.6bn project to supply essential technologies for gas-powered power stations in Saudi Arabia. The company anticipates limited direct impact from recent US tariff announcements on its profit in the second half of FY2025, with profit estimated to be up to a high double-digit million euro amount after mitigation measures.
