After a Moody’s downgrade, the Dow briefly dropped but quickly rebounded to flat on Monday. The S&P 500 was down 0.2% and the Nasdaq Composite 0.4%. Traders initially shifted to safer assets but reversed course as U.S. Treasury notes regained traction.
