Wall Street was concerned about rising bond yields, causing the stock market to drop on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.9%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.6%, and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.7%. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose to 4.55%, with the 30-year yield up to 5.03%. Global bonds were struggling due to higher-than-expected inflation in the U.K. and ongoing issues in Japan’s bond market.
