The Taiwan stock market rebounded after a two-day slide, with the TSE finishing above 20,915 points on Friday. Financial, technology, and plastics stocks led the gains. However, the global market outlook is uncertain due to trade deal concerns. On Wall Street, the Dow fell 0.29%, the NASDAQ was flat, and the S&P 500 slipped 0.07%. Crude oil prices rose on Friday amid hopes for a U.S.-China trade agreement. President Trump’s comment about imposing an 80% tariff on China added to market uncertainty. West Texas Intermediate crude jumped 1.9% to $61.02 a barrel.
