The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office denied Tesla’s attempt to trademark “Robotaxi” for its vehicles. Another application for the term is still under review. Tesla has three months to respond to the denial. Applications for “Cybercab” were also halted. Tesla plans to launch autonomous ride-hailing in Austin, Texas by June. Tesla is reassessing growth forecasts due to global trade policy shifts.
