Gold stocks and pharmaceutical stocks saw notable declines, while computer hardware stocks moved higher. Asian markets mostly rose, with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index surging 2.3%. European markets, however, moved lower. In the bond market, treasury yields were relatively unchanged.
