VivoPower has successfully raised $121 million in a private capital raise led by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. The company plans to use the funds to buy and hold XRP, build out its treasury and DeFi team, and reduce debt. Adam Traidman, former Ripple board member, has also joined as Chairman of the Board of Advisors. VivoPower aims to be the first public company executing an XRP-focused digital asset treasury strategy, contributing to the XRPL ecosystem. The company is also continuing due diligence for a potential takeover of Energi, with a focus on Tembo.
