7 Solana ETF Issuers File S-1, Analyst Doubts Next Week Approval

Seven Solana ETF applicants filed S-1 statements with the SEC, but approval may not come next week, according to Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart. All filings included “staking language.” Fidelity Investments, 21Shares, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale Investments, Bitwise Investments, and Canary Capital filed S-1 amendments. VanEck was the last to submit an amended filing. Seyffart believes spot Solana ETFs could launch with staking at the same time as spot Ether ETFs. Bloomberg Intelligence raised the odds of a Solana ETF approval in 2025 to 90%. Consensys founder Joe Lubin stated that Ether ETF issuers are hopeful for regulatory approval for funds offering staking. Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas predicts a potential altcoin ETF summer, with Solana leading the way.
