The investment will strengthen AWS data centres and create additional jobs in the supply chain. Amazon is also reportedly developing AI software for humanoid robots to potentially replace delivery workers. The company is testing these robots at its San Francisco office. Amazon is also testing a new feature that uses generative AI to create audio summaries for select product detail pages, aiming to provide concise overviews for efficient shopping.
