Americana Restaurants in UAE is in talks to acquire a stake in Cravia, a local F&B franchise. The deal was confirmed by Americana in a stock exchange filing. Cravia, owned by Fajr Capital, operates brands like Five Guys and Cinnabon with 78 outlets and 2,000 employees.

Americana also gained approval for listing in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. With brands like KFC and Pizza Hut, it added Peet’s Coffee to its portfolio. The company operates over 2,600 stores in 12 countries, including Wimpy and Chicken Tikka in the MENA region.

Despite challenges from restructuring and boycotts, Americana reported a 16.5% increase in net profit in Q1 2025. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization rose by 17.4% year-on-year. The potential stake in Cravia is part of Americana’s strategic expansion in the F&B sector.
