Defense technology startup Anduril Industries has raised $2.5 billion in its latest funding round, boosting its valuation to $30.5 billion. This marks a significant increase from last year’s $14 billion valuation. Founders Fund, led by tech billionaire Peter Thiel, contributed $1 billion to the round.
Anduril develops sensors and drones, attracting attention for low-cost autonomous defense solutions. The company has partnered with Palantir Technologies to pursue government contracts. The Series G funding round saw existing investors increase their commitments, with Founders Fund supporting Anduril since its establishment in 2017.
