Brown-Forman has revamped its US distribution network, appointing new distributors for 13 local markets. Breakthru Beverage Group will be the largest national distributor, covering 14 markets. Republic National Distributing Co. will handle products in 12 markets. The changes mark the first significant shift in the company’s US route-to-consumer landscape in over 60 years. Despite a 5% decline in US net sales in the first nine months of the financial year, Brown-Forman highlighted strong performance from Woodford Reserve. The company previously announced job cuts and cost-saving measures, including closing a barrel-production facility and restructuring leadership.
