Spicer Jeffries has 30+ years of experience in the global securities industry, serving hedge funds, private equity firms, and more.
The acquisition enhances Cherry Bekaert’s fund regulatory compliance and investor transparency practices, and expands its presence to the Rocky Mountain region, including Denver. It also allows the firm to conduct audits for funds registered with the Cayman Island Monetary Authority through its affiliated firm in the Cayman Islands.
The integration of Cherry Bekaert’s capabilities with Spicer Jeffries’ industry expertise is expected to provide tailored solutions to clients in the asset management sector. The acquisition includes non-attest and attest assets, aligning with alternative practice structures.
Cherry Bekaert Advisory partner Scott Moss stated that acquiring Spicer Jeffries aligns with their vision to expand asset management capabilities and provide comprehensive services to fund clients.
