The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s FSIS has issued a recall of chicken Fettuccine Alfredo products sold at Kroger and Walmart stores due to potential Listeria contamination. The outbreak has affected 17 individuals in 13 states, resulting in three deaths and one fetal loss. Investigations are ongoing to determine the source of the contamination, with products made in California, Georgia, and Indiana being recalled. Consumers are advised to discard or return affected products. Recent Listeria-related recalls include Enoki Mushrooms, Coldwater Shrimp, and ready-to-eat sandwiches. In other outbreaks, fresh cucumbers and brown eggs have also been recalled for Salmonella contamination.
