BiT Global has resolved its dispute with Coinbase over the delisting of its wrapped bitcoin (wBTC) token. A joint court filing revealed that BiT Global has agreed to dismiss the lawsuit with prejudice, with both companies covering their own legal expenses. The lawsuit was filed after Coinbase delisted wBTC due to concerns about Justin Sun’s involvement. Sun, a Chinese crypto billionaire, had joined wBTC as an advisor, leading to World Liberty Financial dropping cbBTC for wBTC. The lawsuit alleged that Coinbase’s decision harmed wBTC’s liquidity and reputation while favoring cbBTC. The terms of the dismissal were not disclosed.
