CPSC Recalls: 3.8 Mln Dumbbells, 1.7 Mln Air Conditioners, Golf Cars, CO Detectors, Casters, E-Bikes

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced recalls of 3.8 million dumbbells, 1.7 million air conditioners, 352 thousand Yamaha golf cars, and 50 thousand Apollo America CO detectors. Various other products like casters, e-bikes, boilers, toys, and chainsaws are also included in the recalls.

Johnson Health Tech Trading is recalling 3.84 million BowFlex adjustable dumbbells due to an impact hazard. Nautilus Inc. sold 3.7 million of these units. The dumbbells were sold in pairs and single units in black and were manufactured in China.

Midea America is recalling 1.7 million U and U+ Window Air Conditioners due to potential mold growth and respiratory issues. The air conditioners were sold in various brand names and were made in China and Thailand.

Yamaha Motor Corp. is expanding the recall of golf car vehicles to include 352,000 units due to a crash hazard related to the accelerator pedal return spring assembly. The vehicles were sold between July 2015 and December 2024 for prices ranging from $5,970 to $13,220.

Apollo America is recalling Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors due to a failure to alert consumers to fire or CO leaks. The detectors were sold online and through door-to-door sales from June 2024 to October 2024.

Various other products like boilers, e-bikes, casters, chainsaws, and toys are also being recalled due to risks of carbon monoxide poisoning, fall hazards, fire hazards, and choking hazards. Make sure to check if any of these products are in your possession.
