Cross-border payments platform dLocal obtains licences in the UAE, Turkey, and the Philippines. In the UAE, dLocal secures a payment services licence. In Turkey, it partners with Lidio for cross-border payments. In the Philippines, dLocal is awarded a money services business licence for remittance flows.

dLocal CEO Pedro Arnt emphasizes the importance of expanding into high-growth markets like the UAE, Turkey, and the Philippines to connect underserved populations to the global digital economy. The company aims to provide secure and reliable access to billions of consumers through these licences.

These new licences add to dLocal’s existing portfolio of over 30 licenses globally, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK. The platform offers global companies access to over 900 local payment methods in 40+ countries through a single integration, including digital wallets and bank transfers.

In a recent development, dLocal partners with Juspay, focusing on Africa, Asia, and Latin America markets. This collaboration aims to integrate dLocal’s diverse payment methods with Juspay’s ecosystem. The company continues to expand its reach and offerings in the global payment landscape.
