Tesla has unveiled refreshed versions of its Model S sedan and Model X SUV, featuring new features like a Frost Blue paint option and improved range. Prices have increased by $5,000 across all configurations, with the Model X starting at $89,990 and the Plaid version at $104,990. Delivery times are estimated at two to four weeks.

Lucid Group’s Lucid Air and Rivian’s R1S are close competitors to Tesla’s Model S and Model X, offering impressive EPA ranges at lower prices. Lucid Air starts at $69,900 with an EPA range of over 500 miles, while the Rivian R1S is priced at $75,900 with an EPA range of 270-410 miles.

Tesla’s stock performance has lagged behind the Automotive – Domestic industry this year, with shares down 19.4%. The company appears overvalued based on its price/sales ratio of 10.01 compared to the industry’s 2.62. EPS estimates for 2025 and 2026 have been revised slightly higher in the past week.
