Rivian launches AI-driven RAP with Level 2 driver assistance features

Rivian has launched the AI-driven Rivian Autonomy Platform with Level 2 driver assistance features. The platform uses 55MP cameras and processes over 200 trillion operations per second. The system provides Level 2+ autonomy, supporting the driver with alerts and interventions. RAP features Driving Assist and Active Safety Assist tools, stepping in only when necessary. Rivian’s second-generation R1 platform has significantly upgraded RAP with revamped perception systems and computing setups. Other automakers like Toyota, Waymo, and Tesla are also making progress on autonomous vehicle platforms. Rivian’s stock has outperformed the industry YTD and appears undervalued based on valuation metrics. EPS estimates have seen slight revisions recently.
