Duni Group has acquired an 80% stake in LinePack, a Finnish company specializing in automated food packaging solutions, to strengthen its Food Packaging Solutions division. The acquisition will double Duni’s food packaging revenue in Finland, offering a more sophisticated range of products and services.

LinePack’s integration into Duni Group will enhance the Duniform brand by incorporating advanced technology and local Finnish expertise. This strategic move aims to meet the increasing demand for sustainable and efficient packaging solutions in the market.

LinePack provides design, equipment, installation, maintenance, and spare parts for automated packaging systems. With an annual turnover of approximately €2m ($2.2m) and six employees, LinePack will benefit from access to a larger customer base and resources by joining Duni Group.

Duni Group Food Packaging Solutions chief officer Nicklas Lauwell stated that LinePack’s technical excellence and customer relationships position them strongly in the market. By becoming part of Duni Group, LinePack will have access to resources that can accelerate its development and drive the creation of next-generation packaging solutions.

LinePack CEO Sami Mäenpää expressed excitement about joining Duni Group, citing access to a larger customer base and resources for faster growth. The collaboration aims to combine technical expertise with Duni Group’s strengths to deliver enhanced value to customers and drive innovation in packaging solutions.
