Canadian company EDM Resources signed a $58m gypsum offtake deal with a producer for gypsum from Scotia Mine. The agreement includes a $250,000 advance payment and five-year exclusivity. Production must start by Dec 2026. The mine has 5.1mt of gypsum reserves with a 92.8% grade. Gypsum is in high demand in construction and agriculture.
