EFT did not participate in EDC’s hearing, leading the council to conclude that EFT acted untrustworthily and unfairly by not paying on time and avoiding communication. The EDC highlighted EFT’s lack of response to communications and recommended documenting their online activity. EDC aims to promote ethical practices in the denim supply chain and hold parties accountable. EFT Capital did not respond to requests for comment.
