Federal Reserve officials project two quarter-point interest rate cuts by the end of 2025, in line with market expectations. The median estimate for the federal-funds rate target range by 2025 is 3.75% to 4%. Despite changes in trade policy, a credit rating downgrade, and geopolitical risks, the rate estimate remains unchanged from March.
