FedEx reported better-than-expected sales in Q2, but stock dropped 5%

FedEx (NYSE:FDX) reported Q2 CY2025 revenue of $22.22 billion, flat year on year but beating analyst estimates by 1.9%. Guidance for next quarter’s revenue is $21.79 billion, above expectations. GAAP profit per share increased to $6.88. Over the last five years, FedEx’s sales grew at a 4.9% CAGR, below sector average. Operating margin was weak at 6.3%.
