Automakers have been slow to adopt Mobileye’s systems, opting for in-house development or other providers, limiting growth potential.

Despite partnerships with major companies like Volkswagen and ride-hailing services, Goldman expects limited upside for Mobileye in the near future. The autonomous vehicle market is projected to remain small and commercial until at least 2027, delaying significant earnings growth for the company. The firm sees a lack of scale needed for substantial profit increases.
