Indosuez Wealth Management, a division of Crédit Agricole Group, will acquire the local BNP Paribas Group Wealth Management clientele in Monaco to strengthen its presence in the market. The deal includes forming a strategic collaboration with BNP Paribas to support its Wealth Management clients in the Principality. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026.

This acquisition aligns with Indosuez’s strategy to enhance its position among ultra-high net worth clients in Europe, amid a sector witnessing increased consolidation. The move aims to solidify Indosuez’s standing in Monaco with ultra-high net worth clients, highlighting the company’s growth strategy and role as a major wealth management player in Europe.

For BNP Paribas clients in Monaco, the transition means continued service and access to a wider range of banking and advisory services offered by CFM Indosuez. These services include corporate finance, fund management, and global financing capabilities supported by Crédit Agricole, ensuring improved offerings and continuity for clients.

BNP Paribas views the arrangement as part of a strategic restructuring of its Monaco business, focusing on a single platform while exiting the Wealth Management sector in the Principality. The group will maintain a local presence through corporate, private, and retail banking services to continue serving its clients in Monaco effectively.
