Invenergy and partners finalise $801m funding for Quebec wind project

Invenergy and Alliance de l’énergie de l’Est secure C$1.1bn financing for PPAW 1 wind energy center in Quebec. Construction starts in 2025, operations by end of 2026. 350 jobs created, including 100 at Marmen Énergie. Project to benefit local communities over 30 years. Desjardins Group, National Bank of Canada, CIBC, SMBC, and KfW IPEX-Bank provide financing for PPAW 1. Desjardins Group serves as administrative agent.
