Nebius Group N.V. (NBIS) is increasing its AI infrastructure capex plan to $2 billion for 2025, up from $1.5 billion, focusing on global expansion and new data centers. The company also announced a private placement of $1 billion in convertible notes to drive revenue opportunities in 2026.
Competitors like CoreWeave (CRWV) and Microsoft (MSFT) are also ramping up capex spending on AI infrastructure. CRWV expects to spend $20-23 billion in 2025, while MSFT spent $21.4 billion on capex in the third quarter of fiscal 2025.
NBIS has seen a 82.5% YTD share price increase and is trading at 3.77X price/book ratio. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for earnings in 2025 has remained unchanged. NBIS holds a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) with a target revenue of $500 million to $700 million for the year.
