In 2018, JAB acquired Pret from Bridgepoint. Pret expanded globally in Pune, India, and collaborated with YOOBIC for digital solutions. They also trialed body-worn cameras for employee safety. With over 700 outlets globally, Pret is known for handmade sandwiches and salads. JAB is evaluating new investors for Pret as a potential IPO looms.
