In a recent study by Jasper Therapeutics, 12 out of 12 participants in the 180mg cohort achieved a clinical response, with 11 achieving a complete response. Tryptase levels were below the lower limit of quantification in 10 out of 12 participants. No serious adverse events were reported in the 180mg cohort, and a conference call and webinar are scheduled for June 16 at 8:00 a.m. EDT. The study evaluated briquilimab for mast cell-driven diseases like chronic spontaneous urticaria and chronic inducible urticaria, showing promising results in providing deep disease control and tolerability.
The SPOTLIGHT study assessed the efficacy of subcutaneous briquilimab in participants with chronic inducible urticaria, achieving a clinical response in all 12 participants in the 180mg cohort. The treatment was well-tolerated, with no serious adverse events reported. Tryptase levels decreased significantly, correlating with clinical responses. A conference call and webinar will be held on June 16 to discuss the study’s findings. Briquilimab has shown potential in addressing mast cell-driven diseases and providing robust control of symptoms with a favorable safety profile.
