JPMorganChase and EY launch a 12-week Fintech Forward accelerator in the U.K. for startup founders in financial services. Applications close June 27, 2025, with successful applicants receiving mentorship, access to a technology center, and opportunities to showcase their businesses to potential investors.

The accelerator targets U.K. fintech candidates with a “live product demonstrating market traction” and annual revenues not exceeding £1 million. JPMorgan Payments aims to improve the payments ecosystem and encourages applications from founders addressing underserved consumers, businesses, or communities.

EY’s research report highlights the U.K. as Europe’s top destination for foreign direct investment in financial services. Martina Keane, EY’s managing partner for the U.K. and Ireland, emphasizes the need to build on the U.K.’s strengths for future success in the financial services sector.

The Lord Mayor of London stresses the importance of funding and support for U.K. fintech startups, noting that many British businesses move to the U.S. for funding. Alastair King echoes these sentiments, emphasizing the need for U.K.-based investors to fund innovative fintech businesses in the country.
