Investment firm KKR & Co. Inc. and WEAVE LIVING are acquiring six residential properties in prime Tokyo as part of their Weave Living Japan Residential Venture I. More than 240 luxury rental properties will be available from fall 2025 for local professionals, expatriates, and corporate clients. Three properties are in upscale Minato ward neighborhoods, while the rest will be under the WEAVE PLACE brand. This partnership expands the WLJRV I portfolio to 17 properties in Tokyo. KKR is funding the investment through its Asia real estate strategy, further solidifying its presence in the Japanese real estate market.
