Lancaster Resources Inc. has acquired a 100% interest in the Lac Iris Polymetallic Project in Quebec, near the Nisk and Lion discoveries and the Rupert Lithium Project. This acquisition expands Lancaster’s land position in the James Bay region, enhancing exploration opportunities. President and CEO, Andrew Watson, is excited about the potential for discovery and shareholder value.
The Lac Iris Property covers ~1,443 hectares adjacent to Li-FT claims, near the Whabouchi Lithium deposit and NISK polymetallic deposit. Situated in Quebec’s James Bay region, the property is highly prospective for lithium and polymetallic exploration. Lancaster plans to conduct an exploration campaign to identify valuable metals content through sampling.
The strategic acquisition of the Lac Iris Project diversifies Lancaster’s exploration projects, adding to its portfolio in Quebec and Saskatchewan.
