McDougall Insurance has merged with Keyes Insurance in Halifax, Nova Scotia, expanding into Atlantic Canada. The partnership will enhance service capabilities and expertise in commercial insurance, such as construction, real estate, and manufacturing. Keyes Insurance president Shaun Keyes will lead McDougall’s activities in the region, maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service.

CEO Ross McDougall emphasized the alignment of core values between the two brokerages, highlighting Keyes’ commitment to the community and customer service. This merger follows McDougall’s previous collaboration with Duliban Insurance in the Niagara and Haldimand regions. The Duliban brand will be maintained as a divisional brokerage under McDougall Insurance, with Jason Duliban joining the national leadership team.

Adam Duliban, also a principal broker, will assist during a transitional period before focusing on expanding and managing other family-owned assets. McDougall Insurance’s strategic partnerships with Keyes Insurance and Duliban Insurance aim to strengthen offerings and grow their presence in Atlantic Canada and beyond.
