Meta signs 20-year power purchase agreement for nuclear energy, supporting clean energy goals.

Constellation and Meta have signed a 20-year power purchase agreement for the Clinton Clean Energy Center, providing 1,121 megawatts of nuclear energy to support Meta’s clean energy goals. The agreement will preserve 1,100 local jobs, generate $13.5 million in annual tax revenue, and contribute $1 million to local nonprofits over five years. Beginning in June 2027, the deal will support the relicensing and continued operations of Constellation’s Clinton nuclear facility for an additional two decades.
