Midland Exploration Inc. has started an important copper-nickel exploration program in Nunavik after discovering new Cu-Ni-Co mineralized showings from 2020 to 2024. The program is part of the strategic alliance with Rio Algom Limited, a subsidiary of BHP Group Limited. The 2025 program focuses on new crustal-scale structures identified in previous surveys.

In 2022, a regional MT survey unveiled a major crustal-scale structure favorable for copper-nickel mineralization. A lake-bottom survey in July 2023 detected several copper-nickel anomalies. A ZTEM survey in July 2023 identified new conductive features. The upcoming 2025 TDEM survey will cover approximately 6,600 linear kilometers.

The Copper-Nickel Exploration Alliance aims to target mafic troctolite/olivine gabbro intrusive rocks similar to those at Voisey’s Bay and Nain. Recent discoveries include Cu-Ni-Co prospects and showings from 2022 to 2024. The 2024 exploration program focused on major crustal-scale structures identified in previous surveys. Selected grab samples showed promising grades.

Regional MT surveys were conducted in 2022 to identify structures conducive to copper-nickel mineralization. A major crustal-scale structure was discovered, making it a high-priority target for exploration. A lake sediment survey in July 2023 detected copper-nickel anomalies, leading to the discovery of a new mineralized intrusion in 2024. The 2025 TDEM survey aims to further explore these findings.

Midland’s exploration efforts have been focused on the excellent mineral potential of Quebec, with partnerships with reputable companies like BHP and Rio Tinto. The company aims to discover new world-class deposits of gold and critical metals. The management is actively seeking additional opportunities to expand the portfolio and generate shareholder value.
