N2OFF to boost investment in Melz solar photovoltaic project in Germany

Clean technology company N2OFF is increasing investment in a 111MWp solar project in Melz, Germany to potentially add a 40-60MWp battery storage system. This move aligns with N2OFF’s renewable energy strategy. The project gained approval in December 2024, advancing towards construction readiness in early 2026. The addition of the BESS aims to enhance energy storage and grid stability. N2OFF aims to strengthen its position by exploring new opportunities with advanced battery technology. The Melz project is part of a partnership between N2OFF and Solterra Renewable Energy, focusing on developing renewable energy facilities in Europe. The collaboration includes BESS projects in Sicily and Albania, as well as a BESS project in Poland.
