Natural gas prices fell for the third consecutive session, closing down -4.35%. Cooler US temperatures are forecasted to reduce demand from electricity providers for air conditioning. Geopolitical risks eased with a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, reducing the threat of LNG shipment disruptions. Lower-48 state gas production and demand increased, with LNG net flows to US terminals rising.

An increase in US electricity output is positive for natural gas demand from utility providers. The weekly EIA report showed a rise in natural gas inventories below expectations but above the 5-year average. Gas storage in Europe was below the seasonal average. Baker Hughes reported a slight decrease in active US natural gas drilling rigs.
