NioBay Metals has started delivering niobium and tantalum oxides from the SGS pilot plant in Québec, supported by a grant from the Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts. The Crevier Project in Nitassinan has validated its processing diagram and plans to continue shipments to potential customers. Research partnerships are exploring alternative production methods.

NioBay Metals is focusing on producing niobium oxide for batteries and tantalum oxide for high-tech applications. President Jean-Sébastien David sees these deliveries as the beginning of a new chapter for the Crevier Project. The company also owns the James Bay niobium project and holds a stake in the Foothills titanium-phosphate project in Québec.

The initial shipment to Europe marks a milestone for NioBay Metals, with more deliveries planned this month. The company is committed to meeting customer requirements and hopes to continue dialogue with potential clients. This progress is a testament to the company’s dedication to advancing the Crevier Project and exploring new opportunities in the mineral sector.
