NVIDIA CEO Drops the Blueprint for Europe’s AI Boom

At GTC Paris, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang highlighted Europe’s role in the AI industry, emphasizing the region’s focus on building AI infrastructure and industry. NVIDIA’s latest powerful AI platform, GB200 NVL72, is now in full production, with partners producing 1,000 systems a week. NVIDIA is partnering with European governments and providers to deploy AI technologies across the region. Europe’s quantum ambitions are boosted with the launch of NVIDIA CUDA-Q on Denmark’s Gefion supercomputer, advancing hybrid quantum-AI research. NVIDIA Nemotron is designed to help European developers build large language models tailored to local needs, enabling secure, multilingual AI deployment. NVIDIA is partnering with European governments, telcos, and cloud providers to deploy the DGX Cloud Lepton platform across the region, providing instant access to accelerated computing capacity. NVIDIA is launching the world’s first industrial AI cloud in Germany to help European manufacturers simulate, automate, and optimize at scale. NVIDIA DRIVE, the full-stack AV platform, is now in production to accelerate the large-scale deployment of safe, intelligent transportation. Huang showcased NVIDIA’s work in building digital twins with European companies using the NVIDIA Omniverse platform. The next wave of AI is driven by a surge in inference workloads, with a focus on developing thinking machines like Blackwell to meet the demand for reasoning and token generation. The keynote closed with a vision of a future powered by sovereign infrastructure, agentic AI, and robotics in partnership with Europe.
