Bill Holdings, a finance software company, appointed PayPal veteran Rohini Jain as its new CFO, effective July 7. Jain will replace John Rettig, who will remain as president and take on the role of chief operating officer. Bill CEO René Lacerte praised Jain’s finance leadership skills and experience in scaling growth companies.
Jain, 46, is leaving her role as CFO of enterprise business and merchant platforms at PayPal after nearly a decade with the company. Her compensation package at Bill includes an annual salary of $450,000, a signing bonus of $250,000, and a restricted stock unit award worth up to $8 million in company shares.
Bill Holdings, which provides bill-pay and accounting software services to small and mid-sized businesses, reported total revenues of $358.2 million in its fiscal 2025 third quarter, a year-over-year increase of 11%. However, uncertainties in the macroeconomic environment are affecting the company’s outlook for the fourth quarter, according to CEO John Rettig.
